Lucky Strike Resources Ltd. (LKY:CA)
Our Mission Statement
If China is going to be the country of the 21st century, coal will be the main source of fuel to provide the energy to support its growth. Lucky Strike is positioning to maximize the benefit from producing coal inside China.
China & Coal
China is positioning itself to become the world’s largest economy. It will achieve this goal largely because of coal.
Clean burning Anthracite coal is used to create electricity or diesel to power the factories and the economy of China. Consumption of coal in China will continue to rise for the foreseeable future.
The Guizhou Province where Lucky Strike’s Changyun coal property is located is one of the richest coal regions in China.
The Changyun coal mining license is one of only 27 licenses in Guizhou Province. The government has closed several hundred mines with good potential in the area that can be re-opened once they meet new safety and environmental standards.
Lucky Strike’s focus is to be a leader in developing many of these projects in the Guizhou region.
The management and board of directors of Lucky Strike Resources are committed to the belief that a strong and profitable future belong to companies and investors who include Energy, China and coal in their long-term development strategy.
Company Profile
Lucky Strike Resources Ltd. with its focus on developing into a mid-sized coal producer in the Guizhou province of China, is a Canadian based natural resources company listed on Toronto Venture Exchange(TSX.V: LKY).
This goal will be achieved by acquisition or joint venturing with some of the many smaller coal mines in the region shut down by the Guizhou government over past few years as they were unable to meet the new higher safety and environmental standards.
The Company is currently in negotiations with Cheung Wan Group of Hong Kong to acquire a majority interest in their Guizhou coal mining licenses, which is 1 of the only 27 issued in Guizhou province since 2003.
Cheung Wan owns the Changyun Coal Mine, a 2 sq km property near Bijie, one of the many smaller mines considered by the company in 2004. The Guizhou government issued a Mining License for this project in 2008.
According to the China Ministry of Land & Resources geological data, coal resources are estimated at several multi-billion metric tonnes in Guizhou province and with approximately 40% found in the Bijie region.
This fact creates a compelling growth scenario for the Company and its shareholders. It is a perfect and timely opportunity for Lucky Strike to accomplish its goals and reward its shareholders.
