Supreme Resources Ltd. (SPR:CA)
Supreme Resources Ltd. is a Canadian junior exploration mining company; its shares are publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol SPR and the OTC Market under SPRWF.
Supreme Resources’ goal is to increase shareholder value by developing exploration projects that have the potential of becoming new deposits.
Copper Mountain Projects
Supreme Resources holds over 30,000 acres of properties in the Copper Mountain Camp, near Princeton BC, Canada
Supreme Resources completed a summer & fall work program in 2010, including core drilling on the TAS & Verde Projects located in the Copper Mountain Mining Camp.
The mineralized system at Copper Mountain is classified as a bulk-tonnage, alkalic porphyry copper deposit that is hosted within Nicola Group volcanic rocks.
Mineralization is structurally controlled and focused at multidirectional vein intersections and within vein stock work systems.
The Copper Mountain Mining Camp has excellent road access, an entire infrastructure in place for a 25,000 to 50,000 tpd open pit operation, including a water license and a 138 kilo volt power line.
Copper Mountain Mining Camp is on schedule for full production by June 2011 at the rate of 35,000 tpd.
Supreme’s TAS & Verde Projects border Copper Mountain Mining Corporation’s deposits containing a reported 908,000,000 tonnes grading 0.23-.0.31% Cu representing 5 billion lbs of copper. Copper Mountain’s Main Ore body, along with the deep-Titan 24 drill targets, trend into the TAS North Project.
TAS Projects
The TAS project adjoins the Copper Mountain Mining Corporation property on its southeast claim boundary. The Camp’s Main Ore body Trend (CMOT), along with the deep-Titan 24 targets, trend towards the TAS claim.
The TAS North target is situated along the camp’s main ore body trend (CMOT) and proximal to the Oriole deposit. The Oriole deposit is located just northwest of the TAS claim on the Copper Mountain Mining Corporation claims.
The Oriole deposit contains 2,651,453 tonnes grading 0.437% Cu and an associated deep-Titan 24 target. Their trend is towards the TAS claim.
The TAS North project is situated in close proximity to and bordering the Oriole deposit (~ 500 -750m) which contains 2,651,453 tonnes grading 0.44 % Cu.
In 2010 significant drill intersections were reported from the TAS Project and the results confirm the presence of copper-silver mineralization within the Copper Mountain Main Trend.
The four hole drill program conducted on the TAS Project at the Cliff and Road showings intersected 19 metres grading 0.20% copper and 14 metres grading 0.21% copper respectively.
Supreme is encouraged by the significant copper mineralization intersected in drill holes 21004 and 21007 and is presently planning a 2011 spring / summer drilling program to determine the extent of the copper mineralization intersected in the two drill holes.
Supreme will also be drilling a number of high priority Titan-24 chargeability anomalies during the spring / summer drilling program.
The Verde Project
The Verde Project is located 14 kilometers south of Princeton, B.C. and is bounded on the west and south by Copper Mountain Mining Corporation.
Near surface malachite and chalcopyrite mineralization was intersected in four drill holes with significant copper and silver values.
Drill V1006 intersected 1.23% copper, & 32.2gm silver over 0.76 m.
The high overall silver values are of particular interest, highlighted by 132 grams/tonne silver (4.19 oz/t ) over 0.72 metres (0.96-1.68 metres) in drill hole V1004 and 32.2 grams/tonne silver (1.02 oz/t ) over 0.76 metres (1.22-1.98 metres) in drill hole V1006.
The copper-silver mineralization at the Verde project is associated with a northeast southwest trending copper-silver soil geochemical anomaly. The soil geochemical anomaly extends 200 metres northeast and 100 metres southwest of the 2010 drilling and is open to the northeast. Supreme plans an early spring trenching program to extend the mineralization in drill holes V1004-V1007, followed by a program of core drilling.
Supreme Resources plans to expend $3 million over the years for drilling on their consolidated land position at Copper Mountain. This exploration will focus on their 30,000 acres (121 sq km) of holdings that include the Verde and TAS Projects.

Ample Gold Max Gold Project
The Ample Goldmax Property is located 8 kms west of Lillooet, BC along Highway 99 South, better known as the Duffy Lake Road. The property comprises 294 units, or 5,828 hectares (58.2 sq km)
Supreme Resources drilled 7 exploration holes on its 100% owned Ample Gold Max property in 2008.
Previous samples from quartz veins recorded gold values as high as 66.34 g/t (2.34 ounces per ton).
During 1996 to 1999 Homestake Canada Inc. and Gold-Ore Resources Ltd. drilled 5,506 meters (16,404 feet) in 37 drill holes, and spent over $1.0 million on exploration on the Ample Goldmax Project.
Previous drilling results included intersections grading 11.76g/t gold over 8.2m, 4.5g/t gold over 7.2m, 9.5g/t gold over 1.5m and 3.9g/t gold over 5.0m.
Many of the identified mineralized zones display visible gold and abundant sulphide gold bearing lenses are along a strike length of mineralized showings over 1 km ( 0.62 miles) in length.
Supreme’s 2008 exploration drill hole AG 08-38, which was a “twin” to Homestake’s hole AG 96-07, collared in the same location and drilled in the same direction (azimuth) and at the same dip angle as the Homestake hole, returned this comparison:
Homestake |
AG 96-07 | 24.80m to 33.00m | 8.20m | 11.76 g/t Au |
| Supreme | AG 08-38 | 31.36m to 38.45m | 7.09m | 6.60 g/t Au |
The apparent thicknesses and grades are reasonably similar, considering the nugget effect, and are thought to constitute good agreement between the two drill holes. The difference in depth may be due to deviation in the Homestake drill hole. The intercept in Supreme’s hole AG 08-38 is considered to be confirmation of the zone of gold mineralization encountered by the previous Homestake drill hole.
Hole AG 08-37 entered a zone of gold mineralization not disclosed by the previous drilling. This hole had an intercept of 6.09m grading 4.17 g/t Au, the tenth best drill hole intercept on the property.
In late 2010, Supreme Resources completed an aerial reconnaissance survey of the property and discovered a new large quartz vein, and four (4) previously undiscovered adits.
Currently, Supreme Resources is conducting a Soil Geochemical Survey over the new area in the vicinity of the newly discovered quartz vein.
Supreme Resources will use the results from the geochemical survey to assist the company’s geologist with the preparation of a spring / summer 2011 Phase 3 exploration program, which will include plans to drill areas in and around these four newly discovered adits and the newly discovered quartz vein on The Ample Gold Max property.
