Cue Resources Ltd. (CUE:CA)

Company Overview
Cue Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver, Canada based exploration company focused on developing the Yuty Uranium Project in Paraguay. Run by a team of experienced industry professionals, Cue is rapidly becoming one of the leading junior companies in the uranium sector.
The main activities of Cue are focused on the Yuty Uranium project in southeastern Paraguay. This property was extensively explored in the late 1970's and early 1980's, leading to the discovery of significant uranium mineralization in a roll-front environment. Activities then ceased with the global fall in uranium prices. Worldwide, deposits of this nature are commonly recoverable through the use of ISR (In Situ Recovery) technology. The property has 484 holes drilled, 218 of which were drilled by Cue.
A new resource report was announced in April, 2009. Compared to the previous independent resource estimate, the contained uranium on the Indicated category has increased by 77% and the associated grade by 40%.
Indicated Resource |
9.0M tonnes @ 0.042 % eU3O8 | containing 8.3M lbs eU3O8 |
| Inferred Resource | 1.1M tonnes @ 0.050 % eU3O8 | containing 1.2M lbs eU3O8 |

Cue Resources owns a 100% interest in the Yuty Property through its ownership of Transandes Paraguay S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cue.
The Yuty Property covers over 230,000 hectares. The San Antonio deposit within the Yuty Property is only a small portion of the Property. As you can see from the image to the right (click for high resolution image), there are three concession blocks north of the current resource that Cue considers to be highly prospective for deposits similar to the San Antonio deposit. In addition, it is believed that similar geology exists through much of the entire Yuty Property.
Title to the concessions is held through a "Concession Contract" with the Republic of Paraguay, which grants exploration and exploitation rights for a minimum period of 20 years.
