Alpha Minerals (AMW:CA)
ALPHA MINERALS INC. (TSX.V: AMW) is a premier junior mineral exploration company with strategically selected Uranium and Gold properties in North America.
Canada: British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario
Alpha Minerals Inc. has approximately 240,000 acres of prospective Uranium and Gold claims distributed throughout North America.
- ATHABASCA BASIN PROPERTIES: Patterson Lake South, Cluff, Hook, and Cree, that totals over 225,000 acres. The Athabasca Basin located in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada is the world’s most important uranium producing district, which accounts for approximately 20% of global primary uranium supply.
- MIKWAM GOLD PROPERTY in North Eastern Ontario, Canada, totaling approximately 2,400 acres within the western extension of the Casa Berardi Deformation Zone.
- DONNA GOLD PROPERTY in British Columbia, Canada, totaling approximately 5,370 acres. The property is located in the Monashee Mountains. The property lies in the headwaters of the famous Kettle River Gold Placer Camp. A very large clusters of anomalous Gold and pathfinder elements was identified draining the area in Government geochemical surveys..
Alpha Minerals Inc. also has strategically positioned itself with premiere partners in the Athabasca Basin:
- Rio Tinto (50% / 50% Joint Venture)(*Formerly Hathor (HAT : TSX.V)
- Fission Energy (FIS : TSX.V) (50% / 50% Joint Venture) (2012 Winter Drill Location Map)
- Uravan Minerals (UVN : TSX.V)
- Logan Resources (LGR : TSX.V)
- Acme Resources (ARI : TSX.V)
*Effective November 2, 2012 ESO Uranium became Alpha Minerals. Alpha Minerals trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "AMW".
Athabasca Basin

Alpha’s Athabasca Basin Project total over 100,000 hectares of land. The most advanced of the projects is the Patterson Lake South Property.
Alpha Minerals Inc. and Fission Energy form the 50/50 Patterson Lake South Joint Venture that includes claims that straddle the southwestern margin of the Athabasca Basin. The joint venture includes 17 claims (approximately 25,450 hectares). The Patterson Lake South Property (“PLS”) is accessible by road with primary access from all-weather Highway 955, which runs north to the former Cluff Lake mine (greater than 60 million pounds of U3O8 produced), and passes through the nearby UEX-Areva Shea Creek discoveries located 50 kilometres to the north, currently under active exploration and development.
Several of the deposits that made up the Cluff Lake Mine were located by following up uranium boulder fields significantly smaller than the one discovered by the PLS JV. To the Companies knowledge, the PLS boulder field; In terms of area, magnitude and size, is the largest-known boulder field in the basin.
In December 2012, Alpha announced the discovery of High Grade Uranium at the Patterson Lake property.
“Alpha Minerals Hits 12.5m at 2.49% U3O8 Near Surface At PLS”.

Donna Gold Property
British Columbia, Canada. Monashee Mountain Range 5370 acres
- The property lies centrally within one of the largest clusters of anomalous values in stream sediments for gold and its typical pathfinders, that was identified in the Regional Geochemical Surveys carried out in a joint Federal and Provincial programme completed in the last three decades.
- Alpha Minerals has obtained and reviewed various reports concerning past exploration work conducted on the Donna property which were not prepared in accordance with NI 43-101. These indicated a strong linear zone of gold values intersected by 4 trenches over a distance of 250 metres and open on both ends, to the NW and SE. Corresponding soil samples ranging from trace to 4200 ppb (4.2 g/t) gold were found covering and surrounding this area. Grab samples values from the area trenched are reported in assessment files from 0.02 oz./s.ton (0.69 g/t) gold to 0.66 oz/s.ton (22.76 g/t) gold found in float from the area of the soils geochemistry anomaly.
- Grades ranging from trace to 0.86 oz/s.ton (29.66 g/t) gold over 8.25 feet (2.5 m.) with a high value of 3.28 oz/s.ton (112.41 g/t) gold over 3 inches (7.5cms) were returned in sampling of the trench walls in this zone. Drilling intercepts ranged from trace to 0.034 oz/s.ton (1.17 g/t) from 129 to 141 feet (39.3 to 43.0 m) with a high value of 0.55 oz/s.ton (19.09 g/t) from 78 to 82 feet (23.8 to 25.0 m) all in apparent widths. While these samples show significant gold values, the main exploration target is a bulk tonnage gold-silver deposit supported by the stockwork mineralization.
- Initial drilling for definition of targets related to the known gold zones was completed in 2010. The results indicate a strongly anomalous zone that extends west from the trenching and is open (as yet undrilled) further to the west along the soils anomaly. ESO management is very encouraged with this initial drill program as it further identified the targets on the western side of earlier trenching and a gold anomaly in soils that extends more than 1,600 meters (5,300 feet) along the height of land between the Kettle River and Yeoward Creek, which are both historical gold placer producers.
