Who we are

Northaven Resources Corp is a public mineral exploration company listed on the TSV-V (trading symbol NTV) which is focused on discovering and developing large scale gold and silver deposits in Canada. We believe that every exploration company needs to have the right combination of people, projects and process in order to be successful - something we believe we offer in Northaven. We feel we have assembled an impressive portfolio of early stage precious metal properties.

What we do

Each property is subject to a rigorous selection and evaluation criteria, which has been comprised from the team's significant mining expertise and regional knowledge. We intend to create shareholder value through early stage exploration and discovery of precious metal properties, specifically gold and silver. The project portfolio has potential to become large scale mineral deposits ‐ more than 1 million ounces of gold.

How we do it

There are world scale mineral deposits here and B.C. is a highly favourable mining jurisdiction. Geologically, we see many areas have not yet been subject to modern mining techniques. There is a mature, stable legal and regulatory framework, which makes this Provincial government "pro-mining". However, a common roadblock to creating a mine is the local infrastructure. In B.C., we are home to a strong financing, technical and labour instrastructure.

The Right People

The best project is likely to fail unless it is handled by the right people. It takes the right mix of skill, knowledge and experience to make a successful exploration company. Our team has years of experience in geology, engineering, corporate finance, law, business, securities regulation and management of public mining companies. Each team member has operated at the top of their respective fields and brings a high level of skill and a broad base of knowledge in their disciplines, all of which they bring together to focus on Northaven's goal - to build value for our shareholders by finding and developing large scale precious metal deposits.

The Right Projects

Successful exploration starts with selecting the right property. Our geology team has assembled an impressive portfolio of gold and silver exploration properties. Each property was chosen from among a number of prospects by following strict selection criteria: existence of known gold and silver mineralization, proximity to known mineral deposits, evidence of geology associated with large deposits, geometry capable of hosting at least 1,000,000 oz. gold and whether the property could be acquired on favourable terms. Our team also consider factors such as property access, proximity to existing infrastructure, potential environmental, permitting and social issues.

The Right Process

Good projects operated by good people can still fail unless they follow the right process. We follow a systematic and disciplined process that starts with a review of existing available geological data and builds successive layers of information that help us develop a clear geological picture for the property. We begin with the end in mind, looking at the relevant mineralogical, economic and development criteria which a property will have to meet before it can become a mine - and develop our work programs accordingly. Wherever possible, we try to use the latest available exploration techniques - including recent developments in geophysics and sampling - and do our work in phases, with each new phase of exploration building upon (and being justified by) results of prior exploration.
Mineral exploration by its very nature involves testing the unknown, and therefore never comes with guarantees. While we cannot be certain of the outcome of our exploration efforts, we believe our shareholders deserve the best possible chance at success. That's why we have assembled our particular combination of people, projects and processes - to give our shareholders the best possible opportunity to participate in the discovery of large gold and silver deposits -to uncover what others have over looked.
