Athabasca Uranium Inc. (UAX:CA)
- Clean ,Green energy
- investing in a greener future
- Located in the world's richest Uranium basin
LEADING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY – The Key Exploration Advantage
Athabasca Uranium employs airborne ZTEM and Magnetoteulleric (MT) ground surveying combined with high-definition seismic technology to collect sub-surface data, which is then interpreted by the world’s leading experts to identify drilling targets – the same processes and experts used by Hathor Exploration at Roughrider and at Cameco’s MacArthur River projects to help find their high-grade deposits. Benefits of combining leading-edge technology and interpretation with drilling are:
- Early Identification & Expert Interpretation by Leaders in the Field
- Precision Underground Mapping = Cost-Effective Drilling
- Accelerated Project Development Using Proven Technology
PROPERTIES – On the Basin’s High-Grade Geological Trend
The Athabasca Basin hosts the world’s largest and richest uranium mines, producing approximately one-third of the world’s U3O8 supply. Four exceptional properties totalling 90,000 acres have been acquired by UAX and are slated for aggressive exploration this winter season. Leading-edge seismic and drilling will be employed to define targets in the areas, each of which is adjacent to, contiguous with or near and on the geological trend of all recent large U3O8 discoveries and the massive MacArthur River & Cigar Lake mines.
