Centurion Minerals Ltd. is a Canadian-based company focused on the procurement, exploration, and development of gold and other precious metals projects in Indonesia.
Centurion holds an interest (up to 80%) in six gold properties in Aceh Province, Northern Sumatra. Properties were acquired on the basis of historical information or previous exploration showing multiple epithermal gold and porphyry copper/gold occurences or prospects with excellent exploration potential. All properties are near or adjacent to East Asia Minerals' Miwah epithermal gold discovery.

10.8% Interest in the Miwah Epithermal Gold Deposit
The Centurion Minerals / Kamona Financial Partnership
Centurion has a partnership agreement with PT Bayu Kamona Karya, the Indonesian company holding a 15% interest in, and the Exploration Mining Business Permit (IUP) on, the property hosting the Miwah epithermal gold discovery in Aceh Province, Northern Sumatra, Indonesia. Centurion has the right of first refusal (RFR) to fund the obligations associated with the Kamona IUP Property Agreements and will receive 72% of the income that the IUP Holder receives (equivalent to 10.8 %) with respect to the Property.
Halimon & Banda Raya Properties
80% JV Interest
- 2 x 10,000 ha land claims with mining licenses (IUPs) granted. Located adjacent to and immediately north of East Asia Minerals’ Miwah discovery
- Geology – extremely favourable volcanic and structural setting
- Geological crews mobilized and base camps established at multiple priority target areas in the Miwah – Menawan lineament including: Leuping, Simpang Tiga, Geudob, Tiger Ridge and Menawan. Preliminary reconnaissance at these prospects has confirmed the presence of widespread high-sulphidation style epithermal alteration, localized copper sulfide minerals and copper-gold porphyry mineralization.
- Exploration and sampling continue with drilling anticipated in April/May 2011
The Badak Property
80% JV Interest
- Approx. 10,000 hectares with IUP permit issued
- Within the Neogene mineralized magmatic belt of Sumatra
- Undergone previous exploration for gold and base-metals in the last three decades
- Hosts at least two gold anomalous areas with characteristics interpreted to be of epithermal style
- Geological setting is similar to that of the Miwah (EAS) discovery
The Menawan Property
80% JV Interest
- Approx. 10,000 hectares with exploration stage Mining Business Permit (IUP) issued
- Located along the Miwah gold-mineralized lineament and contains at least two anomalous mineralized areas identified by previous operators: the Menawan Prospect and the Semelit Prospect.
- Re-evaluation of historical data underway
Jimeu Property
80% JV Interest
- 10,000 ha with exploration stage Mining Permit (IUP) issued
- Within the Cenozoic magmatic arc of Sumatra which is well-known to host most major gold and gold/copper deposits. Previous exploration delineated the Jimeu epithermal mineralization within one of the Au/Cu/As geochemical anomalous claim areas.
- Re-evaluation of historical data underway, field work commencing as soon as possible
The Sable Property
77% Interest
- 23,500 ha secure land claim - 6th Generation Contract of Work (COW) located approx 15km west of East Asia Mineral’s Miwah discovery
- Exceptional property access by paved road from local airport (Meulaboh)
- Geology – favourable volcanic and structural setting with four known porphyry-style Au-Cu prospects from previous exploration. Exploration targets include 1) Au-rich porphyry Cu deposits and 2) epithermal deposits (similar to Miwah)
- Historical work conducted includes geological and geochem survey, soil anomaly and rock chip samples and 19 diamond drill holes
