GMV Minerals Inc. is a junior exploration company focused on the exploration and discovery of gold assets in Guyana, South America. The Company's exploration properties encompass approximately 535,000 acres, forming one of the largest in the resource-rich country.



GMV's property portfolio is unique in that its claims lie directly adjacent or in very close proximity to virtually every major hard rock discovery in the country. The Company is fully financed and intends to carry out an extensive ground and air geophysical program as well as mapping, sampling and drilling in 2010 and 2011.

About Guyana

Guyana is located on the northern east coast of South America. A former colony of the British, Dutch, and French, it achieved independence from the United Kingdom in 1966 and became a Republic in 1970. It is the only English speaking country in South America.



Guyana has a mining friendly government and an extensive history of gold and mineral production. In the late 80's Guyana's mining sector experienced rapid growth, attracting foreign investors from a number of countries including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Norway and Australia.




Historically, an estimated 3,000 kg of gold was being extracted each year. Today, gold is currently the country's largest export, with current exploration underway by large, medium and small TSX companies such as Guyana Goldfields, IAMGOLD, Sandspring Resources, Sacre Couer Minerals and others.

Guyana Gold Shield Potential

All claims are located within the Guiana Shield which contain mines such as El Callao which has produced more than 20mm ozs Au and the Km 88 District (Las Cristinas, Las Brisas; more than 20mm ozs Au).



Many of the known hard rock deposits in the Guiana Shield were sourced by investigation of alluvial (placer) gold production. The GMV/Alphonso claims are all on Alphonso ground, much of which has had and continues to have gold production. He is presently one of the largest gold producers in the country. Alphonso previously optioned his working alluvial-producing claims which formed both the Guyana Gold (TSX:GUY) deposit, Sacre-Coeur (TSXV:SCM) and the Sandspring Resources (TSXV:SSP) deposits which were discovered sourcing and anomalous alluvial deposits.



The ground targets that discovered the currently under-development-ore bodies in the Guyana Shield were derived from alluvial discoveries. GMV has the largest hard rock claims portfolio in Guyana over producing alluvial ground.

Property

GMV Minerals Inc. has a property portfolio containing a total land mass of 843 sq. miles. This includes:

• 30 medium scale licenses covering 199 sq miles in the North West district
• 252 medium scale licenses covering 406 sq. miles in the Mazuruni/Puruni district
• 89 medium scale licenses covering 141 sq. miles in the Waini district
• 24 medium scale licenses covering 41 sq. miles in the Quartstone district
• 3 large scale licenses covering 56 sq. miles in the Puruni district
