Coal

Saskatoba Coal Project

The Saskatoba Coal Project is located along the Saskatchewan/Manitoba border, encompassing 10 properties totalling 120,000 hectares (1,200 sq. km). The project is situated in the immediate area of several recent coal discoveries of previously unknown coal intersections varying in thickness from 10m to 100m.
The Saskatoba Coal Project is a joint-venture with Swift Resources Inc. (SWR: TSX.V). Saturn maintains a 60% interest in the project with Swift maintaining the remaining 40%. Saturn is the operator of the project.
Durango Coal Trend

The Saskatoba Project is situated within the 'Durango Coal Trend', a northwest/southeast belt extending throughout the Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Regional infrastructure is excellent. The Town of Hudson Bay is located near the center of the project area, from which Provincial Highway 9 and a CN railroad transect. The CN railroad provides access to the port of Churchill, Manitoba. A 230kv power line is also in place in addition to significant water resources.

Molybdenum

Gem Deposit

The Gem molybdenum deposit is located in southern British Columbia near the town of Harrison. The company owns and undivided 100% interest in the property and surrounding claims.
Mineralization on the property has been known since 1912 and was mined for high-grade molybdenite at that time. Development and test-mining was carried out in the mid 60s and an adit driven almost 500 ft into the mineralised body. In 1975 AMAX Potash Ltd carried out a brief exploration program and consolidated the data to produce an of 30Mt @ 0.205% MoS2, which was revised to an inferred 15.9Mt @0.125% MoS2. Neither estimate is NI 43-101 compliant.
In 2005 the Company conducted a surface prospecting program, assays of which returned high tungsten grades (up to 0.43% WO3) and accompanying gold values of 3g/t Au and 50g/t Ag.
The British Columbia Geological Survey categorized the Gem as a 'developed project', however further work is necessary for a preliminary economic assessment to be in accordance to NI 43-101 standards.
