Soldi Ventures Inc. (TSX-V symbol: SOV) is a junior exploration company based in Western Canada. The company's primary goal is to explore for gold in North America. Currently the company is focusing on its acquisition of property near the prolific Rainy River gold discovery.
Rainy River Property
The Rainy River Resources Ltd. gold discovery is one of the most intriguing mining stories of 2010. With 5 million ounces of gold, high-grade intercepts of 352.8 g/t and 701.29g/t (6.0m and 3.0m respectively), and multiple gold-bearing zones, the project has vast development potential.
The area surrounding the Rainy River discovery is quickly developing into a prolific new gold exploration area in North America. On September 7, 2010, Bayfield Ventures Corp. announced that it intercepted gold at 35.93 g/t over 10.0m at its Burns Block property, just to the east of Rainy River's discovery.

The Rainy River Gold Discovery and its surrounding vicinity
The location of the gold discovery is excellent. Northwestern Ontario is mining-friendly and the nearby town of Fort Frances has 10,000 people that could serve as a local workforce, eliminating the need for a camp. The infrastructure in the region is also extremely viable, with year-round road access, powerlines, and rail access. Finally, the location is also warm enough to enable work year-round on the property.
Property Portfolio Overview
- Soldi Ventures currently holds over 21,000 acres of property near the Rainy River and Cameron Lake gold discoveries
- The properties are situated in the heart of an emerging gold camp and have obvious potential for both volcanogenic and structurally controlled gold mineralization
- Soldi Ventures has completed a preliminary review of historic and public-domain data on its extensive claim holdings. Based on the data review, management is now planning exploration activities that are expected to culminate in a winter drill program.
- Soldi Ventures has completed an airborne survey over its properties and is currently interpreting the data. Once targets are set, drilling will commence.

Split Lake Property
The Split Lake Gold Property, acquired August 18th, 2011, consists of 2 claims totaling approximately 1,300 acres in the Patricia Mining District, in Ontario, approximately 26 km south west of Sioux Lookout. The claims are located adjacent to the highway and a railway line.
The claims cover ground reported on by Gillis of ACA Howe in 1980. He reported that the claim area was host to several zones of gold-bearing veins that were initially discovered in the early 1930's and worked from 1935 to 1940. The claims cover two known gold bearing zones, Zone 3 and Zone 9.
The general geology of the claim area is described by Gillis as being underlain by rocks of Pre-cambrian age consisting of andesitic lavas of the Keewatin formation containing layers of dacite, rhyolite, breccia and tuff, with most of the area sheared and altered. Within the shears or fracture zones carbonate, chlorite, pyrite and quartz veins exist. Older and younger intrusive rocks are described in general geology with related shear zones again described as containing quartz. Gillis reported that gold mineralization occurs with quartz veins in fracture and shear zones, with quartz veins uncovered on surface that ranged from widths of 1 inch to 6 feet, and in areas visible gold was noted.
