Dufferin Gold Project
StrikePoint Gold Inc. entered into an agreement with Ressources Appalaches Inc. that will allow StrikePoint to earn a 50% interest in four Nova Scotia gold properties, including the Dufferin gold mine. StrikePoint and Appalaches are arms-length parties to the Agreement. StrikePoint intends to transfer its interest in the Agreement to Braveheart Gold Inc., a wholly owned StrikePoint subsidiary that is registered in Nova Scotia.
Richard Boulay, CEO and Chairman of StrikePoint states that: "We are adding an entirely new dimension to our activities as we launch our new Braveheart Gold subsidiary into this exploration and development opportunity. The geological target type of stacked Saddle Reef deposits in folded sediments has a worldwide history of major gold production over long periods of time. This new project will add to our 2010 news flow that currently includes our next drill program, which is due to commence next week on the Strike Point property in Manitoba, a joint venture with San Gold Corporation, adjacent to San Gold's Rice Lake mines. Our 2010 Rice Lake exploration program will also include continued exploration, a planned second 2010 drill program on the Poundmaker earn-in option with Wildcat Exploration Ltd. and initial ground magnetics and drilling on the 100% owned Angelina property. It should be an exciting year and we are sufficiently funded to carry out all of the scheduled work and related financial commitments."
The "Property" as defined in the Agreement consists of five project properties located about 115 km northeast of Halifax. All five properties, namely Dufferin, Dufferin North, Chocolate Lake, EcumSecum and Miller Lake are located in sparsely populated areas within a radius of 11 km and have good road access. The Dufferin project is an actual mining lease and includes full surface land ownership. It contains a historic gold mine, a decline from surface to a depth of 100 m and a 300 ton per day mill.

Rice Lake Overview
StrikePoint Gold Inc.'s properties are in the Canadian Shield area of SE Manitoba. The Canadian Shield is home to many world-class gold districts and deposits of Archean age.
The Company's Manitoba Gold properties are in the Rice Lake Greenstone Belt, located 90 km west of the Red Lake Greenstone Belt. Both are in the Uchi sub-Province of the Canadian Shield which hosts several greenstone belts that extend from the east of Lake Winnipeg to James Bay.
The Company's field operations are based in Bissett, Manitoba. Bissett can be reached by driving 2 hours north of Winnipeg on paved highway and then 1 hour east on an all-season gravel road.
Winnipeg has an international airport serviced by two major Canadian airlines and Winnipeg is a hub for transportation both east-west across Canada and north-south from Canada, through the US and into Mexico.
Strike Point Project
The Strike Point Project ("the Project") has a high degree of interest because of the proximity of the area to the recent high-grade discoveries in the Hinge Zone by San Gold Corporation ("San Gold"). The Strike Point Project boundary is approximately 750 metres WNW of the Rice Lake Mine and 1.25 km West of the portal for the Hinge Mine, both belonging to San Gold.
The structures on the Strike Point Project are the same rock types as the Hinge Zone volcanics plus the mine unit (San Antonio Mine or SAM unit) of Rice Lake Mine extends on to the Project as well. The structures and potential for extension of the Hinge Zone according to the San Gold geological model make this a highly prospective project for the Company.
The Project contains 24 claims which cover an area of 3132 ha. The Contact Project (not part of the Option agreement with San Gold) has two claims and covers an area of 532 ha. Access is excellent with many roads and trails through the properties. Click here for more information.
The Poundmaker Project
The Poundmaker Project area is composed of two blocks. The Poundmaker Main Block which has been optioned from Wildcat Exploration Ltd. ("Wildcat") and consists of 72 claims that cover 11,980ha. The Poundmaker North Block owned 100% by StrikePoint and consists of 2 claims that cover 415 ha. The total Poundmaker Project Area covers of 74 claims that total 12,431 ha. Excellent access is provided by many logging roads and trails throughout most of the property.
The Poundmaker occurrence is underlain by foliated hornblende-quartz diorite which has been sheared along a structure trending 310° along which quartz veins have been mapped underground and on surface over a strike length of 600m and up to 15m wide.
Total historical production is estimated at 645 oz, and samples from the muck pile have been reported at 0.9-20.2 g/t Au and in 1923, and the average grade was reported as 33 g/t Au in the upper two levels. Click here for more information.
The Angelina Project
The Angelina Project is typified by good structural geology with cross-fracturing that makes it geologically interesting considering the results that are being found in the Rice Lake Belt in cross-fractured areas. The project contains gabbroic rocks with some gold showings nearby the project land.
The Angelina property has good overall road access and a few trails into the property.
Underlain by rocks of the Uchi Subprovince including the Ross River quartz diorite to the west, over which mafic and felsic volcanic rocks and derived were deposited; gabbroic and gneissic rocks and sedimentary rocks are present in the central and southeastern part of the property.
Mineralization 3.5 km south of Angelina includes the Onondaga mine where grades of 0.7-32g/t Au but exceptionally to 5616 and 9223 g/t Au were reported from a quartz vein containing minor pyrite and carbonate in feldspar porphyry within the Ross River Pluton, near mafic volcanic rocks and gabbro.
