Projects
El Cobre Project - WMR
Location: Sonora, Mexico
The recently assembled new project called the “EL COBRE” (24,156 hectares) in Sonora state, Mexico will be the Company’s focus during the October-December 2010 time frame.
On the “EL COBRE” property are, the Los Amigos, El Guayacan, Los Alamos and the famous Anita Copper Mine, all examples of near surfacevein-type prospects having elevated grades of gold-copper and silver. They have had intermittent production, in some cases going back as far as 1750, when they were exploited by the Spanish and then by the Franciscan Monks. These high-grade, gold-copper-silver veins, breccias, diatremes and skarns are associated with porphyry deposit-style mineralized systems identified by the Company. Click here for more information.
